W.H.O.: Who it's for. Hook. Offer.
A three-part check for any letter, video, post, or web page. If one part is missing, it isn't ready.
Short answer: W.H.O. stands for Who it's for, Hook, and Offer. Name one kind of person, one pain, and one solution. Open with a line that speaks to their situation, and give them one clear next step. If any of the three is missing, the message isn't ready to send. It ties to the question behind this whole site: Who's your niche?
W: Who it's for
One kind of person, one pain, one solution. For example: the executor who has inherited a house and doesn't know where to start. If you are trying to reach everybody, you reach nobody.
H: Hook
The first line. It should sound like the person's own thoughts, not like an ad. A good hook shows you understand their situation and are not in a hurry.
O: Offer
One clear next step: a free call, a checklist, an answer. One offer is easier to say yes to than five.
